Pankaj Kedia
AI and Deep Tech Intrapreneur Turned Early-Stage Investor
Pankaj Kedia is a globally recognized AI Thought-Leader and Expert as an early-stage AI investor, CXO advisor & consultant, adjunct MBA faculty, keynote speaker, and board member. Previously, Pankaj played pivotal roles across a series of businesses during the Internet, Mobile, and Cloud technology eras at Intel and Qualcomm.
As the Founder & Managing Partner of 2468 Ventures, Pankaj has directly invested in 160+ early-stage AI/Deep Tech startups and 20+ VC funds with a portfolio comprised of 15+ unicorns and 16 exits (in the last 16 quarters). He has a knack for spotting trends, was an early believe (and investor) in Nvidia and Bitcoin, and has been an early-stage investor in many of today’s high-flying AI startups including Anduril, Anthropic, Cerebras, CoreWeave, Deel, Figure AI, Groq, Lambda, Magic, OpenAI, Shield AI, SpaceX, Writer, and You.com.
Previously, as a Tech Intrapreneur over the last 3 decades, Pankaj played leadership roles in incubating and growing a series of new businesses at Intel and Qualcomm. He is credited for driving the growth of the Internet with laptop PCs, establishing mobile Internet with smartphones, and capitalizing on cloud expansion with IOT and wearable devices. Pankaj also led business development for the wireless portfolio, which was comprised of 30 start-ups with $75M invested capital, at Intel Capital.
Pankaj has been recognized with the Lifetime AI Innovation Award by TiE, inclusion in the CXO Innovators Circle by Bloomberg Tech, and the Global AI150 Hall of Fame by Constellation Research for his contributions as an investor, inventor, and intrapreneur. Pankaj is a lifelong learner and has degress from Stanford, Wharton, Univ of Michigan, and Indian Institute of Technology. He holds the early defining patent on low power for mobile devices (#7725748, Low Power Subsystem for Portable Computers).
